内容記述 | In the context of social education, the direction of examination regarding the question of whether social education and community building function harmoniously is based on the understanding that "social education is strongly related to community building." This can be broadly categorized into two approaches: (1) critical examination of the notion that social education is "subordinate" to community building, and (2) examination of the role of social education with a focus on the "limitations" of its contribution to community building. What is common in previous research on the critical examination of the "subordination" of social education to community building is the emphasis placed on clarifying the distinctiveness of its role while assuming that social education plays an important role in community building. There has also been a shared critical perspective on the "utilization" of social education by national or local government administrations in top-down approaches to community building. In previous research examining the role of social education, with a focus on the "limitations" of its contribution to community building, it can be summarized that the importance has been raised on aligning the autonomy of community residents with the n ature of social education. Furthermore, it has been highlighted that the way this alignment is achieved should enable the embodiment of community residents' autonomy as a tangible concept. |
