| 内容記述 | In community-based Japanese language education, the ideal is to have both "compensatory education" and "social education" by public institutions. This paper examines the case of the Nihongo Mito no Heya, which is carried out by volunteers in an area scattered with foreign residents where this ideal has not been realized. As a result, "compensation education" indicated that the volunteers would examine with each other and proceed with the best possible support for the foreign participants with their consent, while staying close to the learning of the foreign participants. For this purpose, there should be a variety of activities in the classroom. As for "social education", he indicated that the entire classroom should be a multicultural space. It is an environment where foreigners and Japanese with diverse backgrounds can freely come and go in the classroom, interact, influence each other, and make new discoveries. Nihongo Mito no Heya is a place where "compensation education" and "social education" are combined in a mosaic-like fashion. This was demonstrated as a way to combine "compensation education" and "social education" in a Japanese language class taught solely by volunteers in an area where foreigners are scattered. | |||||||||||
